I am a mother, a scientist, teacher, tutor, florist and micro flower farmer. I have had the privilege of growing since childhood but it bloomed into a passion as my young family moved into a larger garden in 2012.
I love dahlias and am obsessed by beautiful forms and colours as well as their genetics. I am a member of Kent Dahlia Society.
We want to optimise conditions for our native pollinators and wildlife. So our flowers are grown pesticide free with regenerative and sustainable principles at the heart of everything we do.
Our garden setting means that with ponds, shrubs, trees round about, we have a polyculture, not a monoculture, and so encourage a healthy, biodiverse and balanced ecosystem.
Our garden grown flowers have not flown across the world, like 90% of flowers sold in the UK. So your flowers have a lower carbon footprint, and have a longer vase life than comparable shipped flowers. Your freshly cut flowers are conditioned without chemicals and not wrapped in single use plastic.
Which means you have beautiful flowers for longer that didn't cost the earth.
